Presider: God is the source of every grace and blessing. With confidence let us offer our petitions through our Risen Lord to the Father

 

Deacon/ Lector/ Cantor: Please respond: “Lord, hear our prayer”

 

1. That Pope Francis is welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven with loud choruses of alleluia, we pray...

2. That the conclave gathering together this week discuss selflessly the needs of the Church in the world and choose the person most suited to serve those needs, we pray...

3. That Bishop _______ will lead the diocese to a greater participation in our liturgies, in our prayer life, and in education into the way of the Kingdom of God, we pray...

4. That first responders, all those serving in the military, professional medical and mental practicians, firefighters, and police consistently work to improve their service to the nation, we pray...

5. That educations, parents, extended family follow the example of our merciful and compassionate Father in their word and care, we pray...

6. Lord. welcome into your Kingdom those who died this week (list here), we pray...

7. we pray..., Lord for the intention (s) of this Mass (name the intention), Lord, we pray...

8. We pause now to offer our intentions of hand, mind, and heart. (pause) Accept these as gifts on the altar with our support for the ministries of this parish, we pray...

 

Presider: Look mercy and compassion upon your people, Lord, redeemed by the Blood of the Christ. Through his suffering, death, and resurrection, unite our parish in love, kindness, and mercy into the Body of your Son, Jesus Christ we pray...
