JESUS, LIGHT OF THE WORLD, COME

Loving God, whose light never fails,

You sent Christ to be our light .

Show us how to be Your torch-bearers

for all the older adults we daily meet.

May those who live in darkness, depression and despair,

find in us a comforting presence to light their darkness.

Fill us with care and compassion for those we serve.

May we be Your Lanterns of Love to help

brighten their world with joy.

Come, Light of the World, come.

Let your glorious light shine on us and help us to

remember that even in a dark time,

You are always leading us toward

A NEW DAWN.
